Moore’s Law: The First Ending and A New Beginning

Abstract
Recent Flash memory trends clearly demonstrate that "Moore's Law has ended" for this specific semiconductor technology. It soon will for others as well. This presents new challenges, and significantly new opportunities for system-level resilience that are being pioneered in Flash memories. Such opportunities are a new beginning.
